St. John’s Christian Academy in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2024-2025 school year:
Support Staff
Position: Extended Care Worker
Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
- Obtain DSS Certification within 30 days of hire date.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children aged 3 to 14 in a safe and engaging environment.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts for children.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and fellow staff members.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the extended care area.
- Provide assistance with homework or quiet time for older children.
- Help with setup and cleanup of activities.
Position: Full-Time Café Assistant (2 Positions)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving daily break and lunch to students.
- Serve students in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Record daily break and lunch charges for students.
- Help with kitchen set up, dishwashing, cleanup, and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in food preparation and service.
Position: Part-Time Café Assistant
Hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (with additional fill-in shifts as needed)
Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, cooking, and serving daily break and lunch to students.
- Serve students in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Help with kitchen set up, dishwashing, cleanup, and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in food preparation and service.
- Provide additional support during busy times or as fill-in for other team members.

Upper School
